Six Months!

Here are some pictures of our cute boy. He is generally a happy boy who still struggles with the nighttime sleep...yawn. I have to remind myself that his sister did too at this age I just didn't have a toddler to deal with all day long at the time :). He is a very physical boy who can roll easily and is working hard on sitting up on his own. At over twenty pounds he has given all of us a work out as well. Check back for the official numbers in two weeks when he goes in. He got to try sweet potatoes for his big day!

Easter Train Ride

We had a LONG HOT wait but we did get to ride the train with the Easter Bunny along with Edina and her Mommy. The girls were hot and worn out, but they enjoyed themselves. Izzy and Edina spent a lot of time together with Keisha their shared nanny. The girls will miss each other lots when we can't just walk down the street for a park playdate!Charlie enjoyed the train as well.

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny came while Izzy was sleeping....

She got a Ms. Potatohead Bunny
We took some pictures after church all dressed up...This one made mommy nervous so...
She came up too!

On the ground it is safer for the big sister hold.
Daddy likes to cuddle us too!

Egg Hunt

We hosted an egg hunt here for Izzy and Charlie's friends. We even had an Easter Bunny!
The kids had lots of fun and we hid about 300 eggs.

We were thrilled the rain held off. We failed to get a picture of all of us, but this is pretty cute of three of the four.

After hunting for plastic eggs, we dyed some real ones.

We also enjoyed a pizza lunch at the end of the fun.

Yay for an egg hunt!!!!

Two and a half!!!!

It is hard to believe Izzy is two and a half already and yet life before her feels like a distant memory. She is a sweet child who knows her letters and most of their sounds along with 1-15 most of the time. She finally decided that colors are worth knowing. She has also embraced her opinions in true two year old fashion :). She will start big girl school in the fall where Sally went to school. She loves school and we think that she will rise to the challenge. Here are a few penguin pictures all her own :)

The Woods and The Martins

We have been lucky enough to make friends with the Martins. Jill and I met in prenatal yoga with our first children and the girls were born just a week a part. Izzy and Sydney are fast friends and definitely know how to find trouble together :). It is next to impossible to catch both of them looking at the camera. It was amazing to learn that our second children would also be close in age. Charlie and Olivia are a mere eight days apart though at this point they are more than a few pounds separate :)
We are so lucky to have them in our lives and look forward to visits and vacations to come even as we are moving out of easy play date range.

Rice Cereal and Spring Time fun!

Here is Charlie's first meal of the even semi-solid variety. He ate quite a bit, but he also left a lot on this face and bib :)
Izzy and Sydney have been enjoying art class together on Fridays. It is not every class where they teach your child to paint on the walls. We will miss Sydney, Olivia, Jill and Jason lots when we move.
Izzy got to push Charlie in his first ride in our swings.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather!
